The 1st grade students are E. Garza Elementary had loads of fun while participating in their STEAM based team building activity. Students from Mr. Torres’s class worked in groups of 4 students to accomplish the goal of building a cup tower while using rubber bands attached to yarn. The objective was to build a tower without directly touching the cups with their hands. Students had to communicate and collaborate well to be able to succeed in this mission. We saw so many smiles as they got closer to their goal!
