Students at our campus excitedly participated in our annual Vocabulary and Character Parade where they dressed up as their favorite book character, then carefully selected a word to depict their persona for the day. Words from “feline, venturesome, mammal, extinct, and villainous” made their way down our hallways, turning our school into a walking dictionary.
The day is a vibrant celebration of words and unique characters, which helps to enhance student vocabulary and also fosters creativity. These events not only make learning exciting but also nurture a sense of community and imagination within our school.
They are a testament to the idea that education can be both enriching and fun, leaving a lasting impression on students’ hearts and minds. We look forward to another expressive celebration next Fall!
